We’re thrilled to share that another month has flown by at JH Design Interiors! It’s been a whirlwind of creativity, new projects, photoshoots with @acesnapsphotography and @olivergrahame, @kathrynmireland talk at @thyme.england, and launch event @cheltenham_boconcept where we bumped into 2 of our lovely ex interns who have now launched into their own design careers. We can’t wait to unveil some of our latest work, so stay tuned.

JH Design Interiors was founded in 2007, born from a successful collaboration that highlighted our complementary skills. Both of us are proud Cotswold residents, drawing inspiration from the region’s stunning architecture and natural beauty.

Our approach combines contemporary design with a deep respect for traditional features, resulting in comfortable, high-standard homes. We’re hands-on, practical, and committed to delivering projects on time and within budget.

While our roots are firmly planted in the Cotswolds, our portfolio extends to neighboring counties and even London.

Every year, we make a pilgrimage to @decorex_inter

Every year, we make a pilgrimage to @decorex_international the interior design event that transforms London’s Olympia into a haven of inspiration. This year, the show was bursting with terracotta hues, pattern, and texture.

As always, we timed our visit for the Sunday, when the crowds are slightly thinner, allowing us to savor each stand and truly appreciate the creativity on display. One of our highlights was the new Craftsmakers entrance, which showcased a curated selection of talented artisans and their unique creations.

We were particularly drawn to the warm, earthy color palette that dominated the show. Intricate designs and artisanal craftsmanship were everywhere, but the Lewis and Wood stand truly stole the show. Their collection of wallpapers and fabrics was a masterclass in pattern and texture.

From statement lighting fixtures to bespoke furniture and luxurious textiles, Decorex 2024 had something to inspire every interior design enthusiast. Whether you’re looking for the latest trends or simply seeking a dose of creative inspiration, this event is a must-visit.

Imagine finding a charming riverside house nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. That was exactly the dream our clients stumbled upon, but it needed a little TLC. Originally a tired holiday let, the house held the potential for a much-loved family home.

This young family with four children and a dog, knew exactly what they wanted - a luxurious haven that could comfortably accommodate their entire crew and welcome guests.

We worked closely with a trusted local builder, and embarked on a collaborative journey to turn their vision into reality.

Transforming this property required a complete gut renovation. We stripped the house back to its shell, creating the perfect canvas for the exciting design elements to come. Throughout the process, our clients were active partners, sharing their preferences for materials and colors. This close collaboration, we believe, is what truly makes this project shine!

From space planning and design schemes to sourcing furniture and managing all those essential trades (builders, electricians, plumbers... the list goes on!), we’ve got you covered. We have strong relationships with local Cotswolds artisans, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.

Transparency is key. We’ll provide clear floor plans, mood boards, and detailed budgets, so there are no surprises (except maybe the hidden gems we find for your space!).

Our job is to handle the details, not add to your stress. We’ll handle everything from furniture placement to plumping the cushions and hanging the pictures. All you need to do is relax and revel in the transformation.

This stunning Cotswold Barn project presented both challenges and exciting opportunities. While the dilapidated state of the old stone barn meant significant work, it also offered us a blank canvas for our creative vision!

Preserving the building’s heritage was key. We embraced the charm of the original stone walls and exposed timbers, creating a beautiful contemporary open-plan living space bathed in natural light.

Imagine finding a charming riverside house nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. That was exactly the dream our clients stumbled upon, but it needed a little TLC. Originally a tired holiday let, the house held the potential for a much-loved family home.

This young family with four children and a dog, knew exactly what they wanted - a luxurious haven that could comfortably accommodate their entire crew and welcome guests.

We worked closely with a trusted local builder, and embarked on a collaborative journey to turn their vision into reality.

Transforming this property required a complete gut renovation. We stripped the house back to its shell, creating the perfect canvas for the exciting design elements to come. Throughout the process, our clients were active partners, sharing their preferences for materials and colors. This close collaboration, we believe, is what truly makes this project shine!
